Your midterm is Tuesday, October 26^th.   

30% of the test is multiple-choice based on the full pool of questions for all the quizzes through Tuesday, October 19th. 

70% of the test is short answer.  You will be given three or four items from the following list of key turning points.  For each, give a brief description of the event, the context in which it happened and its significance as turning point (telling us what changed as a result of this event).
